PFT: Chargers will work out Mariota
On my phone, so no link. Suck it.
Will they really trade Rivers? I know there's been speculation. Discus. |

The Titans are going to get a haul for that pick. Not an RG3 haul.....but still a damn good haul.

TN needs Cleveland to fall in love with Mariota and start a bidding war between SD & Cleveland for the biggest haul.

Will be great if they trade Phyllis for the 2nd pick, and then Mariotta doesn't pan out!

You think that one of the better QB in the league and the 17th pick is not enough to get Mariota? I would think the Titans would jump at the chance to get a legit QB and still have a 1st round pick.

Normally I think it would be fine....but he's 33 and needs a new contract. Plus they Chargers will have to up their offer once the Browns get into a bidding war with them. And you can never count out Kelly and the Eagles as well.

Rivers is a true franchise QB and I'll be very happy to watch him leave the AFCW. That being said, a fair trade would be Rivers for the #2, straight up. Rivers is 34 so he's got at least a few more good years left in him. No way does Mariota come in and turn the TN team into a playoff contender like Rivers would.
