NFL officials just confirmed as well. Like the idea of proceeds going to help fire victims, including first responders. Maybe encourage fans to bring necessities to game for donations, à la Harvesters. So much for training in Denver, Coach McVay.

Monday night’s Chiefs-Rams game now is being moved from Mexico City to Los Angeles due to poor field conditions in Estadio Azteca, per sources.

Back to LA for the Rams, who have been training for altitude in Colorado Springs.

Srs. Reminds me of that bullshit when they had The Rock lead the donks out for MNF in Denver a few years back. Shit like that whips the crowd and team into a frenzy. Absolute momentum boost.

I'm not near as confident that this will be "like a home game" as some of you are. I guess I haven't watched many of the Rams home games, but I haven't heard of other teams' fans taking over there like we saw in the Chargers stadium.

It's just a math problem to me. If you figure there are 10k Chiefs fans in the area who might like to go to the game, that's a lot in that little soccer stadium that holds 20k people, but not that much if you're in an 80k football stadium.

But regardless, a loss with Mahomes coming out healthy is highly preferable to a win where he tears an ACL (not that I'm predicting a loss).

Looks like the Rams are planning on staying in Colorado until Saturday. You can bet your ass the altitude training will help them especially their sorry secondary.

This won't be like a home game, but it'll be much more of a mixed crowd than most stadiums.

A couple weeks ago it was crystal clear. I could easily see San Clemente island from Mt. Baldy - which is 103 miles away - as well as pretty much the whole LA Basin. It looked like a giant model train set.
