49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

Dont caught up in those pro bowl selections. The 49ers were one of the best case scenario teams for a guy like Alex Smith to perform his best.

What I did hear re: Albert is that the weight loss flux over the last few years has really ****ed with his back.

There's Chiefs people that have doubts he can sustain years of a high level of play due to that.
