If the NFL is rigged...isn't Andy vs the Eagles the best storyline?

Stars seem to be aligning in our favor if indeed the league is fixed.

What say you, BlackOp?

Reid's house is nice but I hope he fired the architect,,,I mean it's a 20 minute walk to the front door and if you look at the garage/ dormer roof lines and profile you would swear that they flunked design class. From the picture you can see it was a add on but JHC talk about screwing the pooch on a $2.3M home

I still think it's funny that the league was running with a KC/PHI story line.. yes, that's the ticket. Reid and those two teams are a story that tugs at the heart strings, definitely worthy of rigging.

Lol, no. That storyline is plan G for the NFL. If the Chiefs make the SB, the NFL will cut to JJ Watt's watch party 100x during the game just to have something they can talk about. The entire NFL community is waiting for, and nudging along, the Chiefs to become just a brief talking point before cutting to commercial during their playoff coverage.

NFL is not rigged. If it was Tim Tebow would still be in the league. That dude was a ratings magnet.

Not saying he'd be winning SBs every year but if it was rigged they'd make sure he was still in the league and starting somewhere. Just check out this quote/article and see what Tebow did for ratings that playoff gm.

Tebow’s appeal is undeniable even if his quarterbacking skills are uncertain from week to week and even quarter to quarter. No one can predict how long he can shepherd millions to their TV sets.

“Whenever you have somebody like Tim Tebow leap from the sports pages to the front pages, people tune in who wouldn’t normally watch a football game,” Sean McManus, the chairman of CBS Sports, said Friday. “The same thing with Tiger. People heard he was leading a tournament and wanted to learn more.”

He added: “Tebow is a polarizing figure, on and off the field, which adds to the attractiveness of an athlete. Not only does he win in spectacular fashion, but he loses in spectacular fashion.”

In the 11 games he started in 2011, he had a sub 50% completion rate and a sub 50 QBR. That'd be magic, not influence, to sustain success in the league.

I tend to think this is where the truth is. The NFL isn't ever going to be as obvious as the WWE, but they're going to manipulate things, games included, as needed to steer themselves into profit.
