Missouri Valley Conference Basketball - Missouri St. making a nice run.

In before "who gives a shit"

As a fair weather Bears fan it was pretty fun flipping through the channels a while ago and seeing their huge win at UNI. What a clutch shots. With another win at the Shockers house and a big game with Indiana St. coming up...they are 6-0 in the conference. Could this be the year the bears get in the tourney?

(14-3, 6-0 MVC)

Should be pretty good next year as well. Scheer will step into a starting role. We get Pickens back from injury, he is basically a Jermaine Mallett clone. Also got a couple of good recruits coming in, a stud PG from OKC - Dorrian Williams and another PF/SF type from Tulsa. Probablly will get another JUCO I bet this spring.

Creighton looks to be the early favorite in the MVC next season. McDermott is going to be a pain ass the next 3 years.

Yea i remembered Pickens, I forgot he got hurt. As much as it pains me to say it, I agree about Creighton. If I had to Pick a top 4 for next year i would say
1. Creighton
2. WSU
3. MSU
4. Ind. St.

As much as anything i would like to see all the valley teams to step it up in non conference scheduling. Thats where it has to start to get us to where we were as league a couple years ago. Its just mind boggling that the Regular Season League Champ didnt get in the NCAA tourney.

We Lose some of our Bigs, in Durley, Blair, Ellis, and Hatch. But we also got alot of experience coming back in Ragland, Murry, Kyles, Stutz, and Ben smith, along with other, and we got a very strong class coming in which includes the #2 Juco recruit in the nation according the jucojunction.com in Carl Hall. I dont think we will be as deep as this year, but it might be better to have only a 8 or 9 man rotation. It should be a fun and interesting season next year.

Well the Bears are doing their part. Our non-conference next year is crazy. Home we got Okie State and Tulsa, play at the Las Vegas Classic, and road games at New Mexico, Nevada, Arkansas State, and Arkansas-Little Rock.
