Nothing fancy, just making a pizza. Might do some little smokies rolled up in croissant dough.

I really havent decided yet, some carne asada tacos always hit the spot and are super easy, throw some nachos and fried shrimp on the side maybe?
Just havent really thought it out yet. Maybe something a bit more traditional like a whole fried chicken brined in buttermilk and crushed garlic. Not sure, guess i better start figuring it out. |

Besides beer I have no idea. Going thru a cold front this weekend with 5-7 inches of fresh snow. With a chance for more between now and this weekend.

Made a batch of chili con carne today. Surprise new ingredient this batch is cranberries. It creates a pleasantly light initial impression but if I didn't know cranberries were in there, I wouldn't have been able to identify the refreshing ingredient. Started with half a pork shoulder leftover and added some beef among other spices, onions and chilis (both dried and frozen out of my garden).

Will do a roast in the crock as the starter for shredded beef nacho platter, get out the propane cooker for buffalo wings, and maybe chili.
Salted peanuts in the shell are a must. |

I am still putting my list together... im going to do 3 meatbbqmeatballs, (lamb beef pork) Cream cheese/flat meat rollups, 7 layer dip, rotel, hot wings.. still need to figure out a few more things. Going to have about 13 total people over, so not a big party, but 10 of them are eating machines, so need to plan accordingly.
