Can't wait for the "10 things" threads this season. Gblowfish telling us about his tailgating experiences with his life partner.
Seriously though, congrats on the new wheels. I know next to nothing about Subarus, but they seem to come highly recommended on here so it sounds like you've made a good choice. |

Outbacks are nice vehicles.
Don't worry, it's the Forester that you would see carting some obese middle-aged women to an Indigo Girls show. |

The Cherokee, which is smaller, is not nearly as nice. They make a Patriot, which is a piece of crap, and a Liberty, which is kind of like a Subaru Forrester. If I wanted a Jeep GC, I would have had to bought one 3 or 4 years old, with probably 30,000 miles or more, would have paid about the same, around $30,000, and the bank loan would have been around 5 or 6 percent, because it's used. I got 1.49% for 48 months on the Subaru, although I had to put $5000 down (cash and trade) to get a manageable monthly car payment for four years. Needless to say, I'm very motivated at work today to sell stuff. Gots bills to pay, man. |

Hey, if any of you guys are thinking about buying Subaru here in KC, PM me, and I'll hook you up with my sales guy. If you end up buying a car, they'll pay me $100 which I'll split 50-50 with you.

30k would have gotten you a Wrangler Unlimited Sport. But if you are happy with your unshaved-vagina-mobile that is OK. |

That looks really nice. How's the drive? Ignore Lewdog's bumper sticker advise. |

Looks nice. Good color.
I have heard good things about Subarus. Know someone who has 2. Both are around 2000 and running well. Here is my new ride. Picking it up tomorrow.
