CP's favorite NBA team

I'm just interested in what's your favorite NBA team, if you have any! How did you choose this team if you're not from the area?

This.

I'm sure I'd be more into the NBA if we had a team here though.

Celtics for me but only because of the old Larry Bird led teams. I was happy for Garnett and Pierce when they won in 08. That said, I don't really follow basketball at all.

You could join me as a 76er fan. Recently picked them as my team of the future. I was a Jordan fan as a kid, but other than that I've never been into the NBA. 6ers are a bad team that I think could be set up to actually be good in the near future so this is my way of jumping on a bandwagon without jumping on a bandwagon.

The Magic are about the 7th or 8th team I care most about; they just miss that 6-team cutoff along with Tottenham Hotspur.
Also, I like the direction the Magic are headed. They have a lot of young prospects on their team and are in great cap shape. If Payton and Gordon pan out, they have the makings for a good young squad. Oladipo is gonna be a stud. Vucevic is possibly the best rebounder in the league when healthy. I'm just not sure about Jacque Vaughn as coach. I'll admit I didn't get to see many games last season though. Just from what I heard he's kinda "meh".

Oladipo is a Wade clone. He is going to be great.

If he even approaches Wade quality, hes a winner. He's great defensively as well which I really like
