Chiefs trade (Arenas) for...wait for it...a FB?

Chiefs acquired FB Anthony Sherman from the Chiefs...er Cardinals.
New Cards head coach Bruce Arians has no room for plodding fullbacks in his aggressive, vertical offense. So Sherman heads to Andy Reid's West Coast scheme as Jamaal Charles' lead blocker. The 2011 fifth-rounder graded out 20th among 25 qualifying fullbacks in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season. May 1 - 12:11 PM

WTF?

so essentially trading javier and netting dunta and sean smith, on paper you might as well just add 30 more yards to our 220 average, cause they arent going to get better in one offseason
You aren't putting into perspective that teams stopped passing the ball on us for the most part of the season since we didn't have a lead for the majority of the season. AND the fact that Berry is finally mentally back from injury.

Dunta Robinson was a better corner in Houston when he was allowed to jam receivers and play man. He sucked balls in Atlanta playing zone coverage. Sean Smith can jam receivers pretty damn well, he just can't make up ground when he gets beat.

Arenas wasn't all that good. But is this FB any good? Like if it's Vonta Leach style it would be a good trade I guess. But I've never heard of this FB.

Talking about a misleading statistic. Our pass D was f'n awful. 8 yards per pass attempt; only two teams in the entire league were worse. Reason we only gave up 220 passing yards per game is we were always behind and teams attempted fewer passes against us than any team in the league.

Edit: Opposing QBs had a rating of 99.9 against our pass D, worst in the league.

Arenas sucked the whole time he was here. He showed no chance of turning it around. We get an egg mcmuffin for him, we got the better end of the deal.

You do realize the reason we were 12th in pass D was because teams got up by 2 scores or more and ran the ****ing ball down our throats right?

We had a revolving door at CB2 with Routt there for 4-5 games. Losing Arenas is not going to make our secondary any more horrible than it was.
