We will win enough games to take us out of range to draft an elite QB.

No doubt in my mind.

This team will win just enough games to keep us away from quarterbacks in the draft, but Alex Smith will also keep us from winning playoff games against defenses that can take away the run game and make us one dimensional.

Doesn't matter. I don't think we'll be looking for a legit QB until 2015-2016.

We are still looking for a legit QB now... IF we are too chickenshit to take one now, we will be chickenshits then...

I think Chase Daniel would be better than Alex Smith.

Well if that's the case, what's the big deal? If the Chiefs don't need a QB, that means they're kicking ****ing ass and winning playoff games.

Looking at the schedule I don't see us winning more than 7 games. And that's being a huge homer.

If we manage a 4-6 pick trade down we'll get a 2013 2nd rounder as well as a 1st next year.

If we do trade down we'll have two high 1st round picks next year (minimum.)

We'll have the ammo to move up next year if we feel better about the QB prospects then...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
