Hit Rivers with one of those early on in week 1 and he'll be throwing us INTs like Peters was still here.

I'm sorry, but that episode was so outrageous ... so shocking .. so heinously appalling ... that it leaves no doubt the NFL is rigged. Personally, I believe the old, corrupt, ref bastard was forced into immediate retirement and sworn to secrecy by the league.

I think the NFL knew that we could beat New England if we got there (we're actually the team with the best chance and proven ability) and DJ's sack was a huge turning point. If I recall correctly, Fiddy had even picked up the loose ball and was heading south when they blew the play dead. Huge play. Definite major turning point. Game over for the Tats. Victory for the good guys. No question about it.

I swear under penalty of perjury and the blight of permanently itchy testicles that the above statement is true.

He actually announced the retirement before the game and somebody reported that it was his retirement gift. It was such an appalling play it really is amazing. They hadn't let him do a playoff game for like 5 years because he was so bad.

The fact that the league would just willingly let a ref that they themselves were implying was bad ref a game for the hell of it is so reckless and irresponsible I still can't get my mind around it.

He did? Well, that proves beyond any doubt whatsoever that the NFL has time manipulation capability. It also clearly demonstrates their control over the media both past and present ... and probably the future. This may seem shocking to some, but I've often speculated about the possibility.

At least we finally know the truth.

BTW, I'm sure some Planeteer has conducted research regarding the number of times in the entire history of the NFL that a sack play has been called dead as "forward progress". I'd never seen it before. Then again, I live in the now.

If I wasn't so excited to see Pat Mahomes, that penalty on Kpassagnon's sack was bad enough to make me say **** the NFL.

Still wouldn't be surprised if they traded him to Cleveland, but he has definitely played better as of late. So that's good.

3 year players, bro.

Kpass has made the kind of strides you hope for in a 2nd year. At worst, he's good depth.

I just don't think he's an OLB. I think he'd be great as a hand in the dirt DE or inside on rush downs like Michael Bennett.

Just worry teams will isolate him and get him in space.

This is exactly why you keep Tanoh. I’m so glad Veach thinks the same thing I do when it comes to this (we can all agree on it).

Good defenses have waves of pass rushers that rotate and stay fresh the entire game. Denver did it with 4 OLB’s in 2015, the Jags did it last year with 4 strong rushers (and they just added Taven Bryan).

The Eagles had Graham, Barnett, Cox, Curry and Long last year and they just added Josh Sweat and Michael Bennett.

So much better having Tanoh and Speaks as insurance and depth instead of Frank ****ing Zombo.

Then keep those 4 and cut Zombo. I'm sure he'd still be there if we needed to sign him during the season. And if he's not....find a younger guy to bring in. Over $1 million for the 5th OLB is ****ing stupid.

I really have trouble understanding your dislike regarding Tanoh...

He was RAW coming out as a rookie last year. He needed time to develop regardless of the position in which we played him.

He has been nothing short of spectacular regarding his work habits and willingness to learn and improve from what I've heard.

He has looked exponentially better every time he sees the field.

So please professor, explain the disdain

He's what 6"7 ? Playing OLB?

It's just physically gonna be tough for him to get a lot of bend and beat Tackles.

He's definitely exceeded expectations there for me, so it's looking like I was wrong up to this point.

I still think he could be a beast inside against guards and centers though.

So actual NFL coaches think he can play the position. Some nobody online thinks he can't. Hmm, I wonder who to believe.
