I was not that impressed with Indy.

There is a huge difference between Indy and KC… Indy has aggressively built their city into a big events city… i.e. with the indoor stadium facility that is centrally located downtown and connected to nearby major hotels and convention space.

Also Indy recently opened a new airport terminal at the cost of $1.1 billion, and their airport has significantly more non-stop flights than KC.

I've heard those too but KC is probably a little different. I don't really understand the benefit to NY or New Orleans. I get it for a city like KC. Showing you can land a Super Bowl and put on a good show is very good branding for a smaller city. It's worked really well for Indy.

There is very little draw if any to host a SB in KC regardless of roof or not.

Its in the split.

Gameday revenue is a drop in the bucket compared to a larger revenue split + whatever bonuses NFL is piling on.

They dont do shit for free.
