Just keep the puzzle lock bit in the car
Got the mats, it already had the locking lugnuts on it. So we're all good.

Can't wait for the "10 things" threads this season. Gblowfish telling us about his tailgating experiences with his life partner.

Seriously though, congrats on the new wheels. I know next to nothing about Subarus, but they seem to come highly recommended on here so it sounds like you've made a good choice.

Not lesbian at all. Though it may attract lesbians, which is nice.

That looks really nice. How's the drive?

Ignore Lewdog's bumper sticker advise.

The ride is nice and smooth. One thing that's taken some getting used to: the AWD with the Boxer 4 engine. The car really doesn't "coast". Like, if you get up to speed in a residential neighborhood, you see the light is red, so you take your foot off the gas and just kind of coast up to the intersection before you stop? This car doesn't really coast, it just kind of slows down as you roll. If you want to keep your speed, you have to stay on the accelerator. But it sips gas. Been getting about 27-28 combined city/highway. That's gonna save me between $50 to $100 a month on fuel, even more if gas goes up again.

Oh, and I put a KC Royals sticker on the back window last night. Yeah baby....

Love the navigation system, hands free phone, radio and sound system choices. Pretty bitchin.

Good news. Glad you like it George. The coast thing must be something car companies are doing these days. My inlaws have a Jetta TDI that does that same thing. It behaves as if there are jake brakes installed.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEW RIDE!

I'm in the process of buying a "new" used 2011-2012 Hyundai Genesis with less than 50,000 miles.

Outbacks are nice vehicles.

Don't worry, it's the Forester that you would see carting some obese middle-aged women to an Indigo Girls show.

I love Jeeps but the Grand Cherokee has been a victim of its own popularity. The new ones, even for a Laredo 4x4, are like $35,000, and with nice things inside are closer to $40 grr.

The Cherokee, which is smaller, is not nearly as nice. They make a Patriot, which is a piece of crap, and a Liberty, which is kind of like a Subaru Forrester.

If I wanted a Jeep GC, I would have had to bought one 3 or 4 years old, with probably 30,000 miles or more, would have paid about the same, around $30,000, and the bank loan would have been around 5 or 6 percent, because it's used. I got 1.49% for 48 months on the Subaru, although I had to put $5000 down (cash and trade) to get a manageable monthly car payment for four years.

Needless to say, I'm very motivated at work today to sell stuff. Gots bills to pay, man.
