The Texans released Allen from their from reserve physically unable to perform list this summer.

How does this process work? Seriously, I love EB, but I'd take the cap space at this point.

For the injury settlement they have to get hurt before the end of the preseason. Once the first week of the real season starts they are guaranteed full salary.

They shouldn't had even signed him in the first place. There's a reason why he got let go from Atlanta, who isn't doing good either.

They had to have SOMEONE to make defensive calls; Parker knows the defense...maybe it's partly Parker and his on field calls and adjustments?
