****2018-2019 Official NBA Regular season thread****

Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.

First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

Yup. Houston doesn't have to make any big drastic moves anymore. This should be their year to make the finals if they don't have any big injuries themselves. Load manage Harden and CP3 during the season and let them go off in the playoffs. They've been the clear 2nd best team in the west past 2 years...let's see what happens when they don't have to face a warriors team with Klay and KD.

The offers shouldn’t really matter here. Its the fact that you’re undermining ADs
value by trying to match him up with a player that isn’t as close to being as good.

I wouldn’t know any offers that are better but I do know its going to take more. All this speak is just common sense bro

I don’t like the lakers offer, but your dismissiveness is ignorant, which is likely why you did it.

The lakers giving up ball, kuzma, Ingram and the #4, plus another first is better than siakam. Even your dumb ass knows that.

Undermining his value? Obviously Siakam isn't anywhere near as good as Anthony Davis, nor will he ever be. But the Pelicans aren't going to get a player anywhere near as good as Anthony Davis. That's the problem with having to trade a top 5 player in the NBA. They simply have to take the best player/best offer available.

Kuzma and Ingram are absolute trash and Ball looks pretty terrible so far as well. The only piece of any value there is the #4 and that's because of the mystery of it.

Nah, if given the choice between trading for a bunch of trash and the unknown of a #4 pick and an almost certain future all-star as soon as next year, I'm taking the all-star. And obviously the Raptors would throw in another pick or two with Siakam in any trade for Davis.

With him they won 6-championships by three peating twice. Not sure what you are trying to say hear.

Basketball is a team game. No one player can lead a team to 6-Championships by being surrounded by a bunch of bums.

No they didn’t moron. It was the 2nd round.

Then the following year they were hovering around .500 and on the verge of missing the playoffs all together until he came back. People love to leave that part out. They also added Kukoc, Kerr, and Harper while he was gone.

I think it probably is. I'd also say they'd be more likely to try something like that if Kawhi stays. If he doesn't, you're basically destroying your entire 5+ year future for one year of AD (who isn't as good as Kawhi and who is practically guaranteed to be a Laker the following year).

ABC's coverage of Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals in which the Toronto Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors to win their first title drew a 13.2 overnight rating.

Game 6 peaked with a 17.5 rating, which was higher than any part of the 2018 NBA Finals.

The series finished with a higher rating than both 2017 and 2018, which were won handily by the Warriors over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The ratings also exclude Canadian viewers.
O.City tried to tell me people being tired of the Warriors winning wasn’t also a big factor for the low ratings
