****2018-2019 Official NBA Regular season thread****

Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.

First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

Knicks need to send #3, Knox, etc. to New Orleans. Pair Zion and RJ again.

But imagine trying to downplay MJ’s greatness. The mental gymnastics you have to go through to try to be critical of his career. Oh the irony.
i'm not trying to downplay MJ's greatness. he's the best ever by a country mile. **** i watched a ton games and definitely every playoff game he ever played live. did you?

i was just pointing out he needed help too.

The Knicks are the other losers with KD hurt, what do they do now and why would they send all that to get AD and no one else? I think Kyrie is going to the Nets or maybe back with Lebron.

Have you called me a “hater”? Have I told you I thought Lebron was the 2nd best player ever? We’ve never had the discussions I was referring to. You’ve never said Lebron was better than MJ.

You quoted me in a post and tried to make a comparison that had no correlation to what I was talking about specifically. MJ was never even on the verge of losing a Finals. What happened with him is irrelevant to my point, which wasn’t that MJ didn’t need any help whatsoever.

What exactly am I blind to?

Saying MJ is the clear cut GOAT makes me a homer? An opinion almost everybody that watched him play has?

I'd strongly consider offering Pascal Siakam for Anthony Davis, which I'd assume would be enough to get it done. Pascal is going to be a multiple all-star I expect, but he's not leading any teams to a title.

I expect they'll just be a middle of the road playoff team and wait for Klay to come back in the spring and try to make a playoff run with him there. I still think KD is gone.

I don’t think that will be enough to get AD to Toronto.

We were discussing it, pretty easy to see why I could think that.

And it does have some correlation you just don't want to acknowledge it.
