No, that's not it at all.

The Chiefs aren't going to win anything of significance with Alex. He doesn't have the requisite abilities. This becomes painfully obvious on a day like today, where he completes nearly every pass and only puts up 10 points in a half.

He is good enough to satisfy fans like Easy 6 though.

And it was widely known that Geno was not a QB ready to step in as a rookie and start. He shouldn't have been. He needed to be groomed.

Since I now view your capability to accurately predict the performance of football players about as well as I dance, that's moot.

Geno Smith doesn't have the requisite abilities to stay off the bench, and you wanted him as the Chiefs QB, and still do.
