Strangely, I have disabled the plugin and renamed the directory yet it seems to still work. If the server issue stays gone then I may just leave it as is.

I've ran into this behavior on several .NET apps. How in the hell can it still work without the directory path listed in the code?

Turns out the damn coders put a timeout variable in there if the path is not found for the file they need for the call, they skip the path and just search for the file. Taxing the runtime environment be damned. I don't want any calls from clients saying my app is broke.

FWIW, this should be fixed now. They already updated the plugin with a note about fixing the exact issue we were experiencing.

Well, so much for that - locked us up again. I've turned off some new settings that they added that seem to be related, so hopefully that will help.
