Official Document Your Chiefs Weekend Thread

I can't think of a weekend since 2003 when I've been more excited about a Chiefs game. Win or lose, it's fantastic to at least see the team be legitimately relevant again.

Feel free to use this thread to post pictures, tell stories, link to Instagram videos, whatever. Hopefully we'll have a big win on Sunday, and this thread will be a fun way to look back at a great weekend.

And I hope there won't be any pictures of people in car accidents. Be safe out there.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I almost talked myself back into it today when the game got moved, but now eastern Colorado is supposed to get a bunch of snow when I'd be driving BACK. Just didn't work out.

That's part of my motivation for the thread. Hopefully it'll let me live vicariously through everyone else a bit.

Oh, and I currently have nothing to contribute to this thread, though I think I'll take my DJ jersey out snowshoeing tomorrow. I'll throw the first of OTWP's pics in here though:

Just giving you a hard time.

I fell the same way. Now that they've moved the game to the night game, I am contemplating the trip from Springfield.

Had I known it was gonna be a night game, I'd have cancelled all my patients monday and just stayed the night. Now, I can't swing it I don't think. I figure 730 game start, game over around 11, hour and half to get out the parking lot, 3 hour drive home, puts me back at the house around 330, 4.

Open office at 8 am. Don't think that would be something I could do or a patient would want me to do.

I work tomorrow from 3 to midnight. Off Sunday and the night game means the Essex house will be loud and shit!

I have decided to fire up the grill Sunday now that I have all day to kill

I'm really wrestling with a major decision. Do I stay or do I go? I REALLY want to be at the game Sunday night but I'm nearly 9 hours away from KC. Plus I have to drive on I-70 from St Louis. It's looking more and more like I'd be foolish to take the risk. Of all times for an ice storm to occur. Oh well.....

Everybody gets "sick" now and again O.city. Just sayin'. How long has it been since the Chiefs hosted a home playoff game?
