The Royals don't need that. We're a first place team. We got bigger fish to fry.
You thought that was intentional?

There is a weird vibe between Gordon and the rest of the team. Most of the team eats pizza and chugs beer and rarely lifts weights and he is a machine at working out.

It has happened before and it will happen again that he comes in to the game in similar situations. This outing changes nothing.

He hadn't pitched since Monday and they had him up the whole time. It's getting cute. You want to give him the save if he comes in. If they trusted Morales so much just let him go.

I'm fine with bringing in Franklin Morales for a late inning in which you've got a big lead, aren't using one of the Cyborgs, and the opposing team has a good lefty hitter (who murders RHP) and a SH (who is better from the left side).

He looked rattled after drilling Vogt and left a pitch out over the plate for Zobrist.

Speaking of the HBP, glad to hear reports on Vogt's wrist/forearm are negative for fractures. I don't think it was intentional, but Morales DID miss his pitch by a LOT.

Someone is going to wear one tomorrow, and that's fine. As long as it's aimed appropriately.

Not intentional at all....but the A's will hit someone. I'm hoping they don't aim high or it could get ugly again. Obvious that bothered Morales

Apparently he has a tight minute-by-minute schedule he keeps from the time he arrives at the stadium until game time. He's one of those robot-man athletes.

Well it's not like we won't know what to expect. Can't say we've had a shortage of on-field drama this year.

I feel like his work ethic is going to allow him to age well. I'm obviously not basing that off of anything, but that can't hurt can it?

But it happened and it pissed the A's off. Someone from our team will definitely be hit tomorrow. Hopefully the A's handle it appropriately and hopefully we respond appropriately, so as to not drag it out anymore . . . .

No it didn't piss them off. I haven't read or heard anything after the game that would suggest there are pissed. All their comments I have read stated they thought it was unintentional

Good lord...

There a reasons our bullpen has been the best in history over the current three year run they're on. One of those reasons is that Yost doesn't burn up our best arms by being afraid to pitch guys like Morales with a 4 run lead.

Someone might get hit today but Vogt told the local paper he "considers Morales a team mate"(they played in Venezuela together)and does not believe it was intentional.

I think the way Vogt is handling all of this says a lot. Also helps that Morales isn't all over the media trying to tell "his side."

Lawrie's lack of accountability was part of the problem, I think, in April.
