Heaviest song you've heard recently

I submit Gojira - Heaviest Matter Of The Universe. Some of the most brutal drum work I've heard.

High on Fire is so awesomely heavy, it's hard to narrow it down to what would be their heaviest jam. But I'm loving this oldy but goody:

It's like 5 songs, but the new Shitstorm that dropped yesterday is pretty relentless. Nice to see these guys back together with new jams.

On a side note, have you guys heard the new Megadeth record? Personally, I think it's their best record since Countdown To Extinction.

I think Chris Adler (Lamb of God) is the best drummer they've ever had and Kiko is second only to Marty Friedman (well, because Marty Friedman!).
The Megadeth album was surprisingly good. I was skeptical when Chris Broderick left because he is an amazing guitarist but Kiko stepped right in without a hiccup. And yes, Adler is an amazing drummer. I am going to Rock on the Range this year and he will be pulling double duty with Megadeth and Lamb of God.

Gojira is a really cool band, definitely some unique arrangements. Their name comes from the Japanese pronunciation of Godzilla. They are playing Chicago Open Air this year (another of my festival stops) along with Meshuggah, another band with insane drumming.

I know Rammstein isn't typically known as a "heavy" band, this song definitely gets the blood flowing:

That's what I was thinking, but I thought I'd add emotional stuff if that's what direction it was going

I think I heard one song off of the new Megadeth album and filed it under need to check out, but didn't get back around to it. Will do so now.

Some took it that way, and I'm fine with it as I started the thread to find some new tunes and I listen to most everything except Pop and Rap.

Holy shit how did I forget this song. Just stumbled across this band about 6 months ago.
Here is some heavy for ya. No vocals either

Just listen to it first without watching the guy play it.

Music is a funny thing. I dig all kinds of music but just can't get into this for some reason. Wired differently I suppose.

Looks like there's some killer stuff here for you guys though. Hardest I think I ever got was Korn. I was mad crazy for Korn.
