NBC used Saturday’s primetime Olympics coverage to announce that Heroes is coming back with a new miniseries.

A press release was issued right after the commercial made the initial announcement on television.

Heroes Reborn is set to make its debut in 2015 as an “event miniseries” with original creator and executive producer Tim Kring in charge of its rebirth. The show has a 13-episode order.

Meh, it's fold your laundry fare, decent enough plot to pay half-assed attention to, with enough GTFO quotient [I hope this week is the week they finally chase down a jetliner with some form of ground transportation, . . . #fingerscrossed] to not be engrossed by it.

Two things work actively against it;

first, WE GET IT, high IQ, low EQ, You don't need a vignette EVERY EPISODE to remind us.

second, every week I swear this is the week that whatever that is coming out of Happy's face hole is going to drive me to random homicide. Pent up fury baby voice is a lot to take.

Scorpion has potential, but some of the characters are just awful. Mostly the leading man and the normal leading chick lady. I actually like everyone else on the team.

top rated show on monday night and almost 3 million more viewers then any other show on monday too. (Scorpion) its not going anywhere.

I actually prefer the two leads and T1000. The psychologist, fat phobia guy, and grumpy Asian are the throwaway characters for me. But it's certainly not a new concept. The genius vs. baddies plot is old ("Numb3rs", "MacGyver"). McPhee is easy on the eyes and the lead guy plays it well. (And did anyone recognize him in the end scenes of "Interstellar")?

Well, they certainly can do all the flashbacks they want since Hayden Pantopragmatic, or whatever, looks her normal growth-stunted 4'2 self.
Won't even cost a dime, they can just pull her wardrobe outta storage.

Don't misunderstand, I would still totally give her good reason to walk funny should the opportunity arise.
