Kelce's rec/yards cut in half because we have to keep a TE in to help protect the shitty right side of our Oline.

They'd just run more 2 TE sets and put him on the left side of the field before they'd do that.

They're not going to do anything that minimizes Kelce's abilities as a pass-catcher. Reid loves him some receiving TEs and was running 2 TE sets before it was cool. That's not something I'd worry about a great deal were I you.

Looking at this from a talent perspective he has **** you and nothing. He has NONE of the parts he'd look for as a foundation but...I love this man. He's a defensive genius.

He left because he wanted to be paid more than $5.5 million a year. He's getting no where near that on the open market. I think his best bet is to take a 1 year deal and prove that he's still a top 5 OG.

You really are broken as a fan, aren't you?

There is more talent on this team virtually across the board and especially when you start scanning the two deep.

When Pioli was here and we had 8 Pro Bowlers it was obvious that Pioli's inability to put pieces around high end talent was a huge problem. Dorsey comes in and does a FANTASTIC job of that while also adding some very high end pieces of his own.

Now we're bitching about John Miller.

With some of you if Dorsey doesn't pick the exact person you want every single time you wanted him to pick him, it's just a complete failure on his part. You're like the people in the Louis C.K. clip:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQSRPMFDTSs

He has to do exactly what you want exactly when you want him to do it or you say absolutely stupid bullshit like "Dorsey has failed and anyone that doesn't see that is blind". Bridgewater was my favorite thing in the 2013 draft...but Ford was no worse than my 2nd or 3rd favorite thing. Y'know what? I'm not going to call him failure because he didn't do exactly what I wanted and instead took another pretty goddamn good prospect.

A big part of Mizzou's disaster of an offense that year can be traced back to Morse struggling with C responsibilities.

It was either: Good snap, terrible blocking or good blocking, terrible (and completely unpredictable snap - high, low, bouncing, left, right).

Unless he has made tremendous strides, I don't think you can get into the shotgun with Morse with any sort of comfort.

Seemingly everything pisses Rausch off; try not to take it too hard.

Second-round C Mitch Morse has been starting at center over Eric Kush at Chiefs training camp.

Morse is still adjusting to the speed of the game and admitted he has a long way to go in picking up blitzes. Despite these flaws, the Chiefs continue to give him first-team reps. There's still a month left before the regular season and the Chiefs can always go back to Kush if Morse isn't making enough progress. OC Doug Pederson said Morse hasn't had trouble snapping the ball in the shotgun formation.

I'd have rather paid Hudson than Mathis and drafted a guy like John Miller, but that's just me.

Shit.

Mathis knows the system and would help Morse out tremendously, though I still think we're pretty much screwed at that position. Dude has never played it and you're throwing him to the wolves at the NFL level?

Problem is, Mathis' agent is Rosenhaus, and they probably know that the Chiefs are pretty much in dire straights on the right side of their line.

It ain't going to be a cheap solution, nor a long term one as Mathis is 33, but if they want to take advantage of Charles' gifts while they still exist, they might have to bite the bullet on this one for a 2 or 3 year deal.
