One month sober from pop
I am never one to toot my own horn or gloat but, never in my life has something been so hard to give up. After years of trying, and many failures, I have finally went a month without pop. To some this might be no big deal, but as an avid pop drinker for 20+years I am quite proud. Next up, no jacking off for a month.

Try the Le Croix, flavors are really good and theres no sugar, Ive been using it to cut down everything from soda to beer.

Also I find it interesting that midwesterners call it POP, instead of soda or coke or whatever. Whenever I visited my family back there I would be amused at their little different sayings like when I was looking for something it would be, "What are you huntin' fer" Or restaurant would be "resternt", creek is "CRIK" actually I still call it a CRIK which drives my wife crazy.

I haven't had any for a few months now. Only drink water, beer, unsweet tea, and occasionally coffee. I didnt think the soda was very hard to stop, though I never really drank a lot. Beer on the other hand would be extremely difficult. I'm thankful that I dont want to quit that.

12 ounces at .50 or. 60 is not expensive if you drink one or two a day. I drink 96-128 ounces of Powerade Zero a day that costs 1.20-2.40 Max. It would cost me $4.50-6.00 a day for the sparkling water or around $100 a month extra. That's real money

I find myself drinking less beer as I get older.

It’s just not worth the hangovers. If I drink too much I literally don’t feel myself until the day after the day after I got hammered.. and I’m too old to be wasting days.

If I drink now I’ll generally drink enough to catch a buzz then just maintain it until I’m finished drinking. Day drinking is my shit lately also.
