One month sober from pop
I am never one to toot my own horn or gloat but, never in my life has something been so hard to give up. After years of trying, and many failures, I have finally went a month without pop. To some this might be no big deal, but as an avid pop drinker for 20+years I am quite proud. Next up, no jacking off for a month.

Congrats man, pop is tough. I didn't "quit" in the purest sense of the word, but for the most part I have done the same.

I went on vacation 2 weeks ago and while traveling, I slipped back into drinking a bunch of it. (I absolutely refuse to buy a bottle of water) And after being off of it for some time I could tell right away how bad it dehydrates you. I don't know if it's the caffeine or the sugar or what, but I am always thirsty when drinking the crap. I guess the same can be said for beer, but I ain't giving that up

My pop/soda of choice would have to be Mt. Dew. When I was in KC visiting my sister last month they didn't even have it at Q39, it was replaced with Diet Dr. Pepper. Da ****?
