Cyber Monday

I am thinking of either buying or building a gaming/work computer for home. I saw someone post in the Black Friday thread from last year that they did this very thing with Cyber Monday deals. So I thought I would start a thread for Cyber Monday deals for anything computer and game related. So if you see any amazing deals please throw them in this thread.

For my computer I am guessing I will have to start from scratch. Right now the best computer I have is an OptiPlex 780. I have 1 terabyte drive, 6 terabyte NAS, and about 10GB of RAM in it and it runs fine for work. It is just the on board video card so nothing special there. However, I am getting ready to expand and going to be working with more virtualization. I am probably going to put Win Server 2008 and 2012 on virtual environments because I need more experience with them. I would also like to game on this computer and have the complete package.

If 23" is big enough, there are a ton of deals on them for cheap. $99 or so.

I've tricked my wife into thinking 4" is big enough. So, 23" is probably plenty big enough.

Cyber Monday, like Black Friday, was only worth a shit when they weren't universally known. Now the hype around these days far outpaces any deal you are likely to get. You're better off just sniping good deals by using deal hunting websites on a random day.

I saved $90 off of a Samsung SSD on Black Friday and more than 10% off of other computer items. I'm pretty stoked.
