Of course, I want KC to replace every WR not named Dwayne Bowe and we'll need more than Morgan and a draft pick to do that. |

I don't see the problem with signing Morgan and/or Avant.
The point in signing these guys or Sanders isn't to give you a long-term answer. It's to find a receiver who can give you quality minutes while you find a young playmaker. |

If Alexander didn't have glass joints in his knees, I'd be screaming for us to go get him. Plus I thought someone maybe posted that he is considering retirement due to complications from his latest knee surgery?

And from that list -
Santonio - Man, I don't think so, but that Jet offense was putrid. Maybe he could resurrect his career here, or ANYWHERE than runs a competent offense? James Jones - Known quantity to Dorsey, not sure if he's good or if Rodgers made him good. Probably worth a look. Sidney Rice - No interest Kenny Britt - Not much more interest than in Sidney Rice Miles Austin - Might be worth a look Jerricho Cotchery - Steady Eddie kind of guy. Won't give you big plays. Reminds me of Hemmingway just with more experience. Damian Williams - I know nothing of him. |

Jones would be ok but Sanders was the last #2 wr on the market. Thats why it was surprising or maybe not surprising to see the lil chiefies saying we didn't need Sanders.

How about Josh Morgan? He has some history with Alex Smith and was poised to break out in 2011 with Smith before suffering a season ending injury. I think he's worth at least a look.
