I somehow stuck with it. I was just horrified the first 3 quarters. Probably in shock, just sitting there glued to the tv with glassy eyes.

Yeah, they probably stayed flaccid when they tried to beat themselves to sleep. Those tripe spewing chode smoking pimps had a hell of a ride yesterday. They were ready to explode and bring what they had been holding back only to have Alex led CHIEFS gag them out.

I was at the game. When they were down 27-10, I turned to my wife and said that if they don't do anything on offense this next series then we're leaving. I'll be damned if they didn't make it a game. And I'm glad I stuck around to witness that.

I switched to Madden so I could beat the Chargers myself, until my wife came back in and started screaming at me.

I was at the game. The first half the fans were booing both offense and defense. The second quarter was especially bad. I think KC had like 39 yards rushing and six first downs at the half. Brutal. Lots of fans left at the end of the third quarter when SD kicked their final FG. Which is why you should never leave a game early.

I wanted to turn it off. I was watching with some friends and told them that I wished I'd stayed home, because at halftime, I would have turned the volume way down and settled in for a solid afternoon nap. Instead, I stuck with it and watched a nice comeback.
Honestly though, the lifelong Chiefs fan in me seriously thought that Santos would miss the XP after we scored the TD with a little over a minute to go in the 4th Quarter. It would have been a fitting end to the game, though I'm much more pleased with actual result.

I flipped over to the Royals game after the Chargers made it 24-3. Flipped back to the game just after Hill scored his TD and went back to the Royals after the Chargers made it 27-10. Flipped back over on a commercial and this was right after Maclin scored his TD. Stayed there and watched the rest of the glorious come back.

I was so furious by the end of the first qtr that I went on Facebook and slammed the D. "KC Defense-smooth like butter...butter thats been out for a week" A friend of mine replied "Calm down its only 1st half", but like a previous CP poster said, How many times have they made epic comebacks?? Never is pretty much the answer. I told them I'm tired of watching my team shit the bed, and I left my house. I ended up at a bar with a friend where the game was on, so I barely missed any of of it, but was trying really hard to stay emotionally unattached to the end result.
As soon as the comeback began, my phone went off. Multiple people texting me, "You better turn the game back on". Yeah, My heart just couldn't take the shitshow that was going on, but man, what a ****ing comeback! Really proud of the team. Im not proud of myself, but proud of them for having "NO QUIT" in them.

Yep guilty as "charged"
I watched until Alex Smith threw the interception. Thought how in the hell can this get any worse. Flipped back and forth from Saints/Raiders to NFL Redzone. Saw the Maclin TD and watched till the end. Absolutely incredible. |
