Why do black people cross the street so slow?
I live in north Scottsdale/PV area which is not diverse. I am the first to admit I don't get inner city. On several recent occasions I've had to drive down town for business. Every time I have, including today, I've had to sit at a light waiting to turn because a black person deliberately walked as slow through the intersection as they could. Other people walked by them at a normal pace but they just sauntered. On one occasion the person looked at my car and actually slowed down even more.
What the hell? Am I imagining this or is this some kind of thing?

It stems from a story I heard David Spade tell on the Stern Show. He mentioned that Eddie Murphy held a grudge against him for years about a joke Spade had made about him on SNL. A couple of decades later, Murphy and and Spade happened to cross paths on some random street in Hollywood, and Murphy forgave him. The language I picked up and usedin the military was horrible..if someone outside the military heard my friends and I talk to each other they would not have been to get to a safe place fast enough
