I live in north Scottsdale/PV area which is not diverse. I am the first to admit I don't get inner city. On several recent occasions I've had to drive down town for business. Every time I have, including today, I've had to sit at a light waiting to turn because a black person deliberately walked as slow through the intersection as they could. Other people walked by them at a normal pace but they just sauntered. On one occasion the person looked at my car and actually slowed down even more.
What the hell? Am I imagining this or is this some kind of thing?

I don't think you grasp what racism really is.

If the color of your skin means you feel you need special treatment or are entitled to something then you are a racist.

My biggest pet peav is people that cross the road on the don't walk sign...and I have also noticed the Negros cross the street at a slower than expected pace.

Never make people wait on you.

Peronally I pick up the pace. I give it a little burst. I like to let people know that I care about their time.

This. Not just the 4 wide, but the person who weighs 100 pounds less than me walking straight toward me expecting me to move.
