Why do black people cross the street so slow?
I live in north Scottsdale/PV area which is not diverse. I am the first to admit I don't get inner city. On several recent occasions I've had to drive down town for business. Every time I have, including today, I've had to sit at a light waiting to turn because a black person deliberately walked as slow through the intersection as they could. Other people walked by them at a normal pace but they just sauntered. On one occasion the person looked at my car and actually slowed down even more.
What the hell? Am I imagining this or is this some kind of thing?

The thing that bugs me and I've seen every race of person doing it, is the people that back into parking spaces, even diagonal spaces where they have to pull out the wrong ****ing way. Why? Are you robbing the place and need to make a quick getaway?

I agree, I hate the hand crushers. It's like they have something to prove. What it tells me is, I MUST CRUSH YOUR HAND TO IMPRESS YOU. I usually roll my eyes.

I guess I'm talking about when they've shaken my hand. It's like they hold it out limp, like "kiss the ring" style. My wife and I watched the Butler last weekend, and there's a scene in it where a guy holds his hand out like that to shake with another black guy. And this took place in the 60's, so if they were being "true to the period" it's been around for awhile. I'm guessing it's just a thing.
