Suggestions to de-stink wooden furniture

Bob Dole has a few antiques left after the casa burnt down, but they absolutely reek of burnt house stank. Anyone have any proven methods of rectifying that issue?

Not even going to try to screw with all the cloth furniture and clothing.

I don't have any advice on the furniture.

Sorry to hear about your house. I hadn't even realized you invited Inmen over for a bbq.

Sorry to hear about your house...Vinegar and baking soda is really great to get smoke smells out of wood.. Never tried it on fire damaged stuff though... Good luck

Sorrow about your luck.

We had a friend whose house/business burned. The FD opened his gun safe somehow and left it open and sprayed foam on the guns....and the synthetic stalks stunk.

Cleaned with standard cleaners and left in the open to dry.

My first thought for you on wooden furniture would be Murphy Oil soap, orange glo, vinegar and water and let them air out for a while.

Was leaning toward trying the Murphy's first.

Naphtha solvent. Smoke is a tar-like goo and naphtha is an excellent tar remover. It won't harm the original finish.

You didn't uhm.....lose any drums or anything like that....did ya?

I detected that something had happened, but didn't realize it was that bad. Sorry to hear.

Bob Dole would likely have to ban Bob Dole in the event such an act took place.
