Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?

Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

So I entered 10%MEL into the coupon code box and this came to $50.84 with free shipping because it's over $50. That's 155 milliliters of fluid at 24 mgs nic and 100% PG. I'll get 620 milliliters of fluid at 6 mgs nic and 75/25 VG/PG when I mix it with my own 465 milliliters of USP VG, which I can get for about $10. So I'm spending about $60 to get 620 ml of juice that is perfect for sub ohm vaping. I can even throw a little more VG or 0 nic flavored PG in there if I want to drop below 6 mgs nic. That's about 10 cents a milliliter. I have seen the 30 ml large glass bottles in vape shops going for $20 to $30 depending on popularity. Occasionally I'll see some for over $30 a bottle. My 30 milliliters costs me three bucks.

If you aren't sub ohming you can still do this. Just use only enough USP VG to double your mixture. You end up with juice that is 12 mgs nic and 50/50 VG/PG. Which should be fine for you. It will be about 20 cents per millimeter. So you're still talking about $6 for a 30 ml bottle that can be anywhere from $15 to $35 at a store.

You might want to start getting used to doing this. If vaping products actually do get taken off the market you will still be able to acquire high nicotine fluid in a 100% PG solution, USP VG and flavoring agents that can be used for e-fluids. Those three things are used for other purposes than vaping.

You might want to get used to how box mods work and how to make your own coils, but that probably won't be necessary unless large companies start going under.

Meh. New coils and a 2 ml limit. They'll probably release a 4 ml extended tank add on but it still uses proprietary coils...so, I'll pass.

Really?

I always thought that a larger tank would be convenient for obvious reasons.

Until, I realized that after about 2 to 3 ml the flavor was next to nothing because my taste buds were just too used to it.

Maybe it's just me, but I have to switch up between flavors after a few ml to cleanse my pallet or whatever?

I just don't like refilling my tanks constantly, and I have multiple tanks with different juices in them that I can switch to if I start getting tired of a flavor.

I guess it wouldn't be that bad with the 1.5 ohm coil that the Nautilus X has because it can take awhile to go through a tank at lower wattages... but if given the choice I'd rather have a larger tank.

Going for a tobacco flavored vape might be a good idea. There's a cheaper alternative that has a variety of flavors. Mister-E-Liquid has a sampler pack of 5 bottles in 4 ml or 10 ml size. They killed you on the nicotine base. I would send it back for a refund. 250ml of 24nic 100% VG from nicotinelabs is about $8, rather than $45.

It's not a nicotine base, it's an e-juice prepared with 100% PG at 24 mgs.

5) Tell the FDA to go **** themselves because you just made your own e-juice. The FDA can kiss my ass.

See, this shit is just way too easy not to do it ourselves. We're just lazy. We're babies and we want the bottle, right now! But if the FDA starts shit you can man up (or woman up) and do it yourself. And I didn't even get into making you own mod. If it comes to that you can do that too. Oh, I know. I am already looking into it. But Mister-E-Liquid has good, strong juice to use as a flavor/nic base and they have great customer service. Their tobacco line is excellent and they have a very wide range of other flavors. I'm sitting at about 10 cents a ml right now and that's a good spot for how easy this is. We'll see how this FDA crap shakes out.

FDA deeming, regulations go into effect 8-9-2016. My local vape shops said they will have to close their doors. Won't be able to afford compliance.

This freakin' govt. Control and tax dollars is what it boils down to. Outwardly they promote smoking cessation. Inwardly, they rely on the tobacco tax.

Stock up on the good stuff, gentlemen. You know what happens anytime the govt gets involved. Prices go up, quality goes down.
