I figured I'd make this the official sign up thread because I will be able to edit it. I'll try and get everyone who said they were coming back from the other thread. If you can...just say it in this thread to make sure I don't miss anyone.

Alternates. There are already a couple of spots open this year for new people. Speak up and put your name down as an alternate. You should also post why you think yyou'd be a good edition. Posting 80 times in this thread about how you want in is probably not a good idea.

I'll work on updating this with all the names from last year and then bold the ones who are returning.

DO NOT start naming off or calling teams yet. That won't take place until we have all of the spots filled.

It looks like as of right now.....we have 2 full time spots open and currently 2 temporary replacement spots open. If you're picked for a temporary replacement spot then whenever ChiefsCountry or DJ's LeftNut come back...you'll be giving up ownership of that team to them. Understood?

You want to try and organize this shit and keep it moving forward with 32 different people? Have fun. This has been going on for years. There were times when we had more than 16 people and it repeatedly bogged down because people forgot that they were participating or they weren't available to be contacted. 16 people with 2 teams a piece has proven to work time and time again. You're welcome to start the Alt Mock like chiefscafan did last year and see how much work goes into this.

I've been in other mocks and run a few myself, just not on here. Usually aren't all that many people interested in doing it. Certainly not 32 that you know would be committed through the whole thing. Biggest thing that happens is that some people don't bother finishing up their final rosters for "judging". After the drafting portion is done they don't care anymore.

The list is final. Let me get some shit taken care of and we'll start picking teams.

How it's worked in the past is that you're picking a team in the top 16 of the draft and your 2nd team will be in the bottom 16 of the draft. Don't come in and feed me some line of bullshit that you've picked the same two teams for the last 4 years. If they're both in the top 16....you're losing one of them.

And the Chiefs are obviously a special choice. You can put your name in the hat to be chosen for them. But realize that if you put your name in and you aren't picked....other teams could be gone by then.
