MELLINGER: Should The Packers Move On From Rogers?

It's been seven years since he won the Super Bowl.

He's 5-6 in the playoffs after that.

OK: So don't kill me. I just think Alex gets a more shit than he really deserves. And the Packers have done a shit job at building much of a defense. Hell if Roger's isn't there, that team's not even close to .500.

So many talented QBs only have 1 SB to their name despite playing 12+ seasons.
What you don't get is teams with those qbs are legitimate super bowl contenders year after year. The chiefs haven't been since montana was qb. The marty years were close but no cigar. When did chief fans feel they had a legit shot to go all the way? When marty got joe. I want that feeling again as a chiefs fan and alex cant do that because he is slightly above average at best.

If Alex made 2-3 more big plays per game, it becomes completely unnecessary to give a shit about dropped passes.

Also, EVERY QB DEALS WITH DROPPED PASSES.
Agreed.

Dropped passes are more magnified when you only throw the ball downfield once a game as is the case with Bubble Screen Alex Smith.

Four decades worth of careers wasted with no whiff of a Super Bowl Lombardi trophy.

Hell can't even win a very own Lamar Hunt trophy in 40 years.

Come on Clark don't you want to hoist your daddies trophy?

I say Alex to the packers and they give us Rodgers and our 2-2nds back. Seems fair.
