Yep the Packers have never had a defense worth anything. It's always been Rogers or Favre. The last time the Pack had anything to fear was Reggie White with Brett Favre.

A few things:

1) Alex Smith and the Chiefs pathetic passing game was one of (if not THE) primary reasons the Chiefs lost to Pittsburgh in the playoffs, whereas Aaron Rodgers was probably the only Green Bay player who played well enough to win against Atlanta. The Chiefs defense held Pittsburgh to 6 field goals, whereas Green Bay's defense went into Greg Robinson mode against Atlanta.

2) Tom Brady shredded a Pittsburgh pass defense that stifled Alex Smith and held him to a QB rating under 70 and under 200 yards passing.

3) The two teams playing in the Super Bowl are ranked 3rd (Atlanta) and 4th (New England) in passing offense. Bubble Screen Alex Smith's passing offense= 19th.

So yesterday just re-confirmed to everyone except for the fanatical Alex Smith Apologists (who still cling to the delusional belief that Alex Smith is a "franchise QB") that the Chiefs will not become a legit Super Bowl contender until production from the QB position is upgraded significantly.
