Do you live in a bubble?

Are you insulated from the working class's mainstream culture in thought and history? Let's see who we have here.

I got a 45, which seems about right in the summary. I figured my score would be higher given where I grew up. If I changed one answer about my father's job, it would rise to 52 (he was a manager, but in very blue collar jobs). However, I answered the questions strictly.

I don't really think watching the big bang theory has anything do with the working class. I don't think anyone who writes for that show knows what the working class even is.

My life has improved, but I'll never forget where I come from. I had my first job when I was 12. Seems it's not uncommon for kids to reach double that age before getting to work.

The working class is not a collective you can just put all in one box. The working class is diverse.

You know... ACTUAL diversity. Not that mandated crap political and social elites force on themselves because they're discriminatory and need quotas.
I checked no boxes for TV and one box for movies. Also there were only two places on the food list I checked. One was Denny's. I can't remember the other one. I think they combined for five visits in the last year. I got an 81.

True. I've been fishing twice in the last few years and both times were on fishing charters in the Keys...probably not what their question was targeting.

You got 60 points.

I think its inflated because of growing up poor and redneck.

Ok. I'm not the lowest (of those reporting). I'm only tied for lowest.

But with different questions I could score a lot higher. For instance, my mom's side of the family are all small town struggling farmers.

For Jimmie Johnson my first response was, why are they asking about the coach Fox sports analyst?

I grew up in Johnson County watching the Chiefs and in addition to football news I like to hear about what is going on in KC.

And after years of lurking in the DC forum, don't effing tell me I live in no bubble.

I live in a trailer park so I just assume they don't.

Also I grew up in Hickville Kansas probably the most hick town in America population 2000 counting dogs and cats. That number could be exaggerated I graduated with a class of 12 one of which was an exchange student from Poland.

I got 63, and I haven't live in a small town in 32 years. I've lived in the suburbs in California, Virginia and Hawaii for all that time, and have spent a lot of time in some of the biggest cities in the world (Seoul, Tokyo). I guess the small town never really leaves you.

It would probably have been lower if I hadn't known Jimmie Johnson's identity and the only reason I knew that is because I do a lot of music for NASCAR.

I've never been to a race nor do I watch it on TV.
