I'm not reading anything that's clearly stating that Bray is having a good camp. He's had some nice completions but he's also thrown at least 2 INT's in every practice session.

Andy Reid doesn't like turnovers.

From my perspective, and I've said this since Training Camp began, they're allowing Bray to play himself into or out of a roster spot. This is year four for him and it's probably time to shit or get off the pot.

NFL teams can face serious fines for "stashing" healthy players on IR and unless Hogan is legitimately injured, (as Bray has been with injuries and a torn ACL), I don't think they risk putting him on waivers. There seems to be a general consensus among the reporters covering the Chiefs that Hogan has ideal size, a plus arm, nice touch and accuracy, along with great knowledge of the offense. It's too soon to predict if he'll become a starter but he certainly has all of the qualities necessary for a backup position.

Charles is in camp but like Houston and Hali, he's not participating. He's 29 years old and about 10 months into ACL rehab. It's been pointed out that the rehab process can take 6-12 months and if it's truly 12 months for Charles, that puts him on the PUP timeline and available after the Bye Week.

Unlike the OLB position, the Chiefs don't have better than average players like West and Ware (and possibly, Reaves), so I see no reason to rush him back to the field.

That all makes sense. You may be absolutely right on all counts. Of course, preseason play could change everything. It's still early in the process. We'll see how it all shakes out in the coming weeks.

Yeah, we'll see. I'm excited to see how Conley, Hill, Robertson and Ross Travis react to getting hit.

Do they get right up, as if nothing happened, or do they let it affect their game?

Hill and Ross are the biggest question marks, IMO, at this time.

As I recall, Conley took a few good shots last year. So I don't think he's shy about catching the ball and taking a hit. Not sure about Hill, Robertson or Travis. Nonetheless, there's a lot to be excited about with some of these guys!

It's a good try, but this team is going to have at least 9 OL. Most likely 10.

Last year we had 10 LB's. We only need 9 IMO.

OLB-Tamba, Ford, Zombo, Moses, Nicolas
Houston PUP-when he returns put Nicolas on the IR with a nail splint
ILB-DJ, March, Wilson, other DJ

We only need 4 ILB's instead of 5. Use that extra spot to carry 4 TE's.

Fisher
Ehinger
Morse
LDT
Schwartz
Reid
Fulton
Pughsley(?)
...Sterup...?

Pughsley right now would be the 8th. Sterup is a big dude, but I haven't heard if he's been impressing at camp or not.

Who's the 9th?

Apparently, they like Sterup but he's raw. At 6'8, he's having some trouble with leverage and staying low.

He sounds more like a PS guy rather than the 53.

How many did we carry last year? Seems like it's usually 8 isn't it? 10 seems high to me. Also, to those saying no way to 4 RB or 4 TE, there are always 7 game day inactives. That 4th man would likely be an inactive anyway, so why not keep the talent?

I don't know about that.

Seems like they run light on Oline and heavier on Safety to me.

Well I wouldn't be opposed to bringing in a pass rushing LB when he's cut. That is if we aren't getting Houston before six games.
