This team defines what a good team is. Did you see that folks? The Jays went into Yankee stadium and spanked them 6-0.

I'm feeling awfully good right now....And you know what? I'm gonna feel even better when they go for the sweep tomorrow. I'm feeling high fellas from winning. Now I could see how you guys felt last year when you went on that winning skid and came within a game of winning the World Series. That's just an awfully good feeling, eh? I empathize with you. I know I will this year

You know what's interesting guys? When a lot of critics, like yourselves, heh say we have pitching issues but guess what? Since the all-star break, the Toronto Bluejays have a 14-6 record with team 2.71 Era which is best in the majors.

Fellas, I can't help myself but when you're this good, all I gotta say is:

That's the only catch. I'd much rather have HFA vs the Blue Jays given how they steal sign... uh, how well they play in that ballpark. But HFA also means we might play the Yankees which will be fun, but their ballpark is a nightmare for our fly ball pitchers. Houston probably won't be much better.

Since they had an all-time meltdown today, the Rangers now have to burn Hamels tomorrow. He won't be ready for Game 1. Their 8th and 9th inning bullpen guys have pitched 5 days in a row, and may have to pitch a 6th day in a row tomorrow. Their bullpen is completely gassed top to bottom. They've been the hottest team down the stretch but they've completely blown out everything they have to get there.
