Am I the only one that can't tell the difference between Dave Steckel and Gunther Cunningham? (pretty sure I've made that comparison before, but it just gets more glaring every time I watch this D)

That's flat out pathetic.
SDSU is roughly the equal of West Virginia according to the computers. Alabama won by 10. We won by 20. It doesn't mean much, but it does indicate that we shouldn't be in panic mode.

How would a computer system be able to say that with any credibility? Not only have the two played a single game this year, but how many common opponents did they play last year?

Completely valid points, and if they play like that again, the game in Williams Brice Stadium in South Carolina will be a long night.

Honestly....the way they played makes me concerned about the game against UCF. Let's just hope their next game fixes their issues,

No doubt that it seemed way too easy for SDSU to move the ball through the air for the majority of the game, but things were ridiculously slanted in Mizzou's favor through the first quarter.

Mizzou was gashing the shit out of them with every single run. 5 yards, 7 yards. Anytime the Tigers needed a first down, it was a carry away.

Could be just me, but I saw a team, up 21-7 and physically owning its opposition, assume victory. And this is dangerous against anyone, particularly a team with the size at WR that SDSU has. Their WRs are bigger, which is strange, than most of the teams that Mizzou will face.

Are there points of concern? Sure. Outright worry? Not at this point.

That's the way I saw it. They have to get better and they know it. That's exactly what you want from a game like this, assuming a victory.

Pretty much my feelings too. I've never been a huge Steckel fan so the defense is always my main concern.

Physically i see the resemblance, but the defense i compare it to most are those that Greg Robinson had with the Chiefs..

With the Jags' issues at RB, it seems improbable that he won't see time on their active roster.

Let's see how fast Mauk can get his act together. Murphy and Hansborough both looked very good yesterday.

I wonder if Steck will get shown the door after the season so that Kul can be promoted.
