Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

I can check on my titan, I don't think he's done most of the gold chests yet. Warlock had done 4 and so has my Hunter. Nothing else dropped from the chest this morning, though. Not that it really matters in the end, all 5 are easy to find.

Interesting to see what they do on ensuing planets. Since they show up on the Earth map, I'm assuming we'll get them on the Moon and Mars and Venus.

Definitely a side effect of the beta, but I think the technical side of the testing is probably more important for them. This game didn't really need a demo, it was always going to sell millions and millions of copies. It's the first real mover for this generation of consoles.

I am convinced that this game was made using mostly last gen assets, then made a shade prettier on the new consoles.

I've been doing a lot of reading on reddit and I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea what I'm doing.

I've just been running around shooting at anything that moves and upgrading as a find new items.

This game is way more complicated than I originally thought. I'm going to have to study up before the actual release.
