Let me reintroduce myself

I used to post here quite regularly. I'm just not on a computer like I used to be which makes it hard to post. I've even met a few of you back in 2004 or so at a bar in KC and tailgating at a game. I hung out with Brian (endelt) a few times when I lived in AZ.

I now live in Portland, OR and since moving here my life has changed quite a bit. I've done more than my fair share to help "Keep Portland Weird"

I've debated doing this for about a year now. On one hand it's really none of your business but on the other hand I feel like I need to say something.

Hello, ChiefsPlanet, I'm Meghan and I'm a trans-woman.

I'll be in KC in December and I'll be attending the Chiefs/Raiders game with my cousin and his friends.

Trans-woman works for me. Trust me if you ran into a trans person in the real world and you said "hiya tranny" more than likely they aren't gonna be cool with that. I mean If I knew you well and we were hanging out and you called me a tranny in a joking matter I'd probably laugh along with you but it's not something you'd call a stranger. Hope that makes some sense.

Perhaps you should lobby your beliefs or something to raise awareness of what you would prefer to be called. I haven't heard of any political correct terms for you guys so I just call it how the majority of people do today.

I don't use the word to put you down, I really don't. It's just my preferred catchall for "people who mutilate themselves."
