Nobody knows anything and it is all poker at this point......

Make your bold predictions about this 1st rd and what will happen IYHO. What teams will trade, which players will be taken too high, what players will significantly slide if not out of the 1st rd, which teams will trade out of the 1st rd?

Remember your predictions must be BOLD with your theory of why.

Here is mine. Joe Mixon will be taken in the latter of the 1st rd. Yes, I know the field is deep this year for RBs and he has an off the field domestic issue but Mixon is that special of a talent for his size.

Theory why: If not for his domestic issue he is hands down the best back in this field of RBs at 6'1" 225lbs who definitely would replace Fournette as the first back off the board and is every bit as good or better than McCaffrey as receiver out of the backfield let alone his running ability. The NFL is a passing game now and exceptional RBs who can catch and run out of the backfield are very prized now. All 31 other teams saw the Chiefs take a chance on Hill last year and it significantly paid off and now if TH were in this year's draft he would definitely go 1st rd no doubt. Teams are desperate for playmakers and why I would not be surprised to see Mixon go in the late 1st rd.

Now realistically for Mixon he will probably go bottom of 2nd or into the 3rd rd but again would not surprise me in the least if he went bottom of the 1st.

Your bold predictions !!

Seems to fit.

As a team you take the best odds, go all in, and then just....wait.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
