Jesus Christ. What in the hell is going on, KU currently 5th best 2018 recruiting class. Any chance KU gets anymore 4star kids in that class? It appears Mike Lee has opened up the flood gates on his boys from Louisiana.

I think it's Tony Hull, not Mike Lee.

Also, verbal commits don't mean nearly as much in football as they do in basketball.

These kids are very adamant that they won't change their minds, but a year is a long time.

Still, it was a wise move for KU to lock Hull up to keep riding this momentum. If this class continues to flourish, a lot of these guys likely won't want to leave.

What is up with all of these recruiting rankings sites being so different with KU's ranking?I've seen them as high as 51st for this year (Rivals) and as low as 94th (SI).

Some site's are slower to rate players that aren't cream-of-the-crop caliber (Scout I'm looking at you). When you start throwing unrated players into the mix, it skews the rankings a LOT. With football certain sites like Rivals have larger databases of player rankings, so when players commit it can be more "in tune". A lot of players won't even get rankings until they commit somewhere, simply because there just hasn't been enough exposure for the online services to accurately evaluate. All factors that skew the numbers. That's why rankings for football are pretty much useless until after the class has completely signed and all the databases are filled out with full player evaluations, etc.

Yesterday Sheahon Zenger announced $300 million in renovations to Memorial Stadium. This will also include an indoor practice facility for the football team. Final renderings of the renovations will be made public in September.

I hope this includes some upgrades to the stadium itself and fan experience. And for God's sake, get rid of those damn hard metal bleachers.
