-- Review & Rate your next or previous meal in here.

Hello ChiefsPlanet,

Please review either your next or previous meal in here. Also rate from 1 -> 10 (best) Let's keep them about a long paragraph or two. I'll be glad to start.

Culver's double butter burger (cheese) + everything:

Georgia recently got a location - well a few locations. As it turns out; one is near me. I've had it three times (if you include today.) I find it a decent value. I have to admit that originally i thought they were infusing their meat with butter, but it's only the bun that's brushed with butter. Again I had the double + cheese. i think it was around $5.40ish. I also got a nice size iced water for free. The burger in and of itself is borderline too rich for my tastes. That being said it's practically delicious once you get into glutton form. It's worth the wait as they're made fresh upon the order placement.. The burger is pretty heavy in weight. The meat is seared nicely - the cheese isn't too weird and has a fair melt. bun is simple (as it should be) all veggies had a nice portion-ratio chemistry (or something) and were fresh and crisp. I'd recommend Culver's a few times a year for the burger fan. My only true gripe was it was a tad too rich - I'll give them 8.5/10...

I'd like to hear your rating of your prior or upcoming meal today or soon!

Having breakfast t our usual spot. 4 waitresses tanding around clucking while my coffee cup sits empty. One finally decided to get a pot and do her job but walked right past me like she didn't even see me. Then gave me attitude when I pointed to my empty cup. Not a good start...

Do not piss them off. They will do shit to your food.

If you want to stiff them, do it when you get the bill.

We took our toddlers to Incredible pizza yesterday in OKC. Two adult buffets with two $15 game cards for $30. Buffets are normally $10 each. I went in expecting some shitty pizza and white trash galore. I wasn't let down on either end. It was like going into Wal Mart at the first of the month.

I've lost many lbs over the last few months and haven't had pizza all year. Still didn't taste good. I will say they were nice enough to let our four year old eat free. $8 for a kids buffet seemed ridiculous.

Food: 2/10. 2 points for being edible and it's not supposed to be good food.
Drinks: 8/10 good tea.
Entertainment: 10/10. Kids games were enjoyable for my toddlers and people watching counts as entertainment.

Went to a local New York style pizza place the wife really likes. I thought their pizza was better last time but she said it was the same (she's a liar!). Wasn't very good and lacked a good sauce IMO.

6/10.

That's gonna be my next try. Last time I ordered a four-pack from Giordano's. Awesome.

I devoured a couple migas tacos from a local place called Big Star this morning. They're basically soft tortilla chips with salsa, eggs, pickled red onion and queso fresco wrapped in a house made flour tortilla. As tacos go, I'd give them a 6/10, but due to the lack of breakfast tacos available near me, and their walk-up, to-go window so you can just grab and smash without having to deal with all the squaters nursing their one drink so they can hang outside on a patio all day, I'm giving them a 6.5/10.

Same thing, except a little oil and the eggs are from my chickens. Nothing like fresh laid eggs.

We both got the steak with shrimp, and creamed spiniach for a side. The 3 large shrimp that came out with the steak were seasoned to perfection and cooked the same way. Very tasty, and not a big rubbery or over cooked. The filet was one of the best I've ever had, so tender that you could probably cut it with a fork, and it melted in my mouth while eating it. The side of creamed spinach was huge, came in its own large side dish. It was so good, but by the time the steak and side arrived I was already halfway full so I only was able to eat about 3-4 bites of it because I wanted to finish the steak and shrimp. The dessert which is still sitting in the fridge untouched was toasted coconut and pineapple bread pudding with rum cream anglaise, and chocolate macadamia bark. I will probably eat the dessert this afternoon when I get off of work.
The meal, and service were exceptional. The cost was about $96 before the 20% tip (yes clay I'm a 20% guy if everything is good). For Ruth's Chris I think it was a very good price considering the prices of other items on the menu.
Very good.

Friday Lunch:
Panda Express, 8.5/10 $8
Had the Shanghai Beef. Usually I get the Teriyaki or String Bean Chicken. It was very good. Better than I expected. I don't really like mushrooms but the mushrooms really took on the beef flavor and were very edible. Only gripe with Panda is their white rice isn't the best. But you don't go to fast food chinese for the rice.

Smoothie King, 8/10 $5
Carrot Kale Dream, $5 special on Friday. It was good as always. Good way to get some greens, but I have a feeling there is very little vegetables in there. Wish they would bring Avocado back.

Friday Night Dinner:
Chipolte, 7.5/10 $10
Had the chicken burrito. I'm really boring though so I only get extra chicken, brown rice, and lettuce. The small bag of chips too and the Blackberry Izzy soda. Used to not like Chipolte as much or some reason, now it's a staple of my fast food diet. Wish they had an option to put just cooked onion in their burritos and cilantro. I'm actually not a fan of the lime white rice, so I get brown rice instead. Their lime flavored cihps or whatever are really weird at first, but now they are growing on me.

Saturday Lunch:

Panera Bread. 7.5/10 $11.50
Got the chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl with a Green Passion smoothie, extra spinach. The green passion smoothie is delicious. Sometimes they don't grind up the ice enough making it too thick to sip easily. Not this time. Love getting a bread bowl there. After I eat the soup, the bread is a soft chicken noodle soup flavor and I carve out pieces of soft bread to my delight and then down the rest of the bread bowl.

Saturday Snack
Freddies 7/10 $7
Butterfinger vanilla concrete with extra butterfinger and large fry. Not sure why but I was craving ice creme and I couldn't say no to the french fries as well. I was scouring to find a Orange Leaf or a self serve froyo place, but not as familiar w/ southern Overland Park so finally gave up and went to Freddies. Tastes as you expect. Nothing blows your socks off. Have to order double candy or it is too light. Which is why I like going to the self serve places that weigh it when you are done. Can load up on the candy and whatever you want. Wish they had Birthday Cake flavor but they don't. The fries are good, they are the small little shoe string fries. I prefer my fries with more thickness, but they are good enough. No match for Five Guys or Oklahoma Joes fries though.

Saturday Night:
Pei Wei. 7/10 $11
Got the regular size, Sesame Chicken without bell peppers and white rice. They do a great job with their rice. Much better rice than Panda Express. Their chicken quality leaves a little room for improvement, but since they heavily spice their food it usually goes quite unnoticeable. It was spicier than normal, which I liked in small doses but became a little too much by the end.

Getting ready to go have lunch down at the River Market at Taste of Brazil. Will report back later with findings.

I've been boycotting Chipotle since they went organic/nongmo.

Not that I get there very often anyway, but I'm not eating there until they drop it.

Not that I'm adding anything here, but it is what it is.

Five Guys : cheeseburger w/ bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, mustard.

Small fry - w/ side of ketchup for dipping.

Large cherry coke to drink.

The burger sure doesn't look pretty, but the flavor is out of this world. All these separate ingredients seem to syngergize and subsequently cause an orgasm of flavor. Five Guys defenitely has one of the best fast food burgers out there.

The fries are decent. Cut nice and thick. A little too salty for my taste.

Overall grade : 9/10

You don't believe there is any correlation with non-organic foods & certain types of cancers? Non-organic foods have shown to have more carcinogens in them compared to organic ones. I'm sure you know more than anyone about the topic, just curious why you would be against the choice of a business to use organic.

There isn't a correlation. You believe in total myths.

Buy organic if it makes you feel good. Doesn't mean it's better for you. No conclusive studies. Just because something is treated organically with large doses of heavy metals that are "natural" doesn't mean it's good for you. My best friend has a PhD in plant biology. He also says GMOs are totally safe and will help humanity with world food production and lessen the strain of feeding a growing world.
