I knew you were a dreamer, but then, your heart's of gold.

Fabulous Thunderbirds- Tuff Enuff George Thurogood - Maverick But the best has to be between Brothers in Arms and Tom Petty ' s Southern Accents. I'll take Southern Accents. I have more of a connection with it - Rebels, title cut, Don't Come Around Here...it's an underrated gem.

As an aside, Theatre of Pain? What the ****? Has to be their worst album and I'm not even a Crüe fan. Btw, when I say worst album, I mean Too Fast for Love-Dr. Feelgood era. |

Best song here you go, Chris Holmes was a very underrated player, he had a very loose, sleazy style...

Tom Waits released Rain Dogs in 1985. So, there's the answer.

Love Steel Pulse! Saw them in concert as a teen in the late 80s. Earth Crisis is a great album that actually holds up to time. I still play that and True Democracy.

I love crossover so for me the top lp of 85 is the Welcome to Venice comp.
It's a rare time before all the og crossover bands went full on metal and hardcore scene was just starting to fizzle.

I don't know what the best song from 1985 is, but this is the best song about 1985.
