If you are talking about never servicing my AC, I find it odd that running it here for three summers that it never quit. It gets run from March through October here. And even sporadically in the winter.
im saying that there was never any reason to service the AC unless it leaked.

which it did once a rock went through it.

Oh got it. But doesn't it seem weird I never ran out of Freon in all those years and three Phoenix summers? Maybe I don't understand how it works.

It rocket flies towards the front of my car, a car that has no bottom grill below the license plate. Yes, all celicas were made like this. Directly in that area is my AC Condensor. It clearly dents that pretty far back and cracks some of it. I take it to the mechanic in case the radiator is leaking and they tell me my radiator sits behind there and it's likely that has been hit from the AC condensor being dented so hard. However, at this time it's not leaking.

So I left the car there over-night so they can diagnose in the morning. Gives me a quote, which sucks for a car I am selling. Anyway, once they disassemble, it turns out there's a shield between my AC condensor and my radiator. Only the shield was hit and the radiator was fine.

It's funny but the AC in this car has NEVER been serviced. I am not sure how that's possible but getting the AC condensor fixed obviously had them recharge my whole AC which probably needed to be done anyway.

So now whowever gets my car now has new AC as well! Price might go up a bit with more work being added in, however.

Thanks for listening CP!

Heh yes 17 sucks. Then again any of the freeways are just a construction guy who doesn't know how to secure the ladder in his truck away from wrecking our day.

Yea everyone at work said I should have gotten the license plate. Not sure what good that would have done. It was fairly far ahead of me and I was just nearing my exit. Not to mention the loudness of it made me think nothing happened. Oh yea, windshields get ****ed up all the time. It's annoying.

I HATE the 17. Glad I rarely drive it unless I am heading north of Phoenix to Prescott, Sedona or Flagstaff.

What really gets me is the rock trucks that have the signs on the back that says STAY BACK 500 FEET NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE.

Uhhh...no, you should damn well be responsible for any damage from rocks coming off your truck. Secure your ****ing load or stay off the ****ing road.
