Controversial "Cuties" on Netflix

So, this film has been getting a ton of backlash, and Netflix has taken a lot of flack for airing it. I know what all of the Facebook moms are saying, but I was curious what you guys thought.

Apparently, Netflix replaced the promotional art for the show. This is stuff that happens in real life. I would think more anger should be directed at that fact, and not so much towards the person who brought it to light. Everyone is more outraged by the filming of it than the fact that it actually happens.

Saw the controversial poster and nope'd out real fast. Creepy shit in a multitude of ways. It's unfathomable that they went ahead and aired it. But at the same time, shit like this needs to be known.

I think the main issue I have with providing an incredibly accurate visual to a very serious problem is all the pedos out there fapping to it.

Hopefully someone is auditing the high audience scores on RT.

Of course, Rotten Tomatoes has is 90% tomato meter and 11% audience score. That should tell you something.

This. The triple-headed monster of cheerleading, beauty pageants, and dance troupes, are edging lower and lower in age when it comes to sexualizing young girls. My wife and I like to go to Disney World in the fall and we routinely run into the annual cheerleader/dance meet that takes place there. I don't have to look at the calendar to know if it's there; I just have to look around at all the groups of preteens walking around made up like whores.

It sounds like the message of the film I can get behind. But there is 0% chance I can watch it. It just isn’t going to happen.

Also worrisome: Ben Shapiro is better on pop culture than I am. I am ashamed.

Add in all the hogshit they see celebrities doing the internet and then social media Instagram models or whatever they’re into these days.

We’re pretty careful as to what our daughter sees but sometimes it’s hard. I absolutely crushed her about watching this show that I thought was bad. My wife corrected me and said it only looks like the show that’s bad. This one is actually OK.

The real problems are the ones that disappear into the devices and the parents have no clue what they’re seeing.

Netflix does this crap all the time. BigMouth is worse and AJ and the Queen is much worse. Netflix pushed too hard with Cuties because Americans still want to protect their girls/daughters. Its also pretty gross that Netflix is so anti-religion. this shit programming reeks of Soros $
