Top Video Game of all time...

I've been wanting to do this for a while now. Let's do a "Rainman type" poll or two.

Please suggest your ideas for the best game of all time. The news that we might finally get a new Red Dead Redemption game inspired me to do this.

In my opinion, RDR is probably it. However, that's not really fair. I absolutely love several other games but I don't know if I've ever played anything as much as RDR. Maybe Bloodborne or Witcher 3 but it's close.
I'll start us off with a few:

1. Red Dead Redemption
2. Witcher 3
3. Call of Duty; Modern Warfare (I did like the first 2)
4. Grand Theft Auto V
5. Bloodborne

There's a few to get us running. I'll give you guys a few days, maybe a week and we'll start voting.

I left off the cult classics like Mario Brothers, Doom and GTA because my list is my personal preference and what I play the most. But those games are fabulous no doubt. My favorite GTA is Vice City.

Am I the only Resident Evil guy here in regards to the first remake and 4? Those two are ****ing down right fabulous.

Street Fighter 2 was such a good game, I spent hours on that.

Probably won't make anybody elses list, but I loved Marvel vs Capcom

That's a good one. As a kid I can remember pulling an all nighter trying to beat onslaught on the hardest difficulty. I failed sooo many times lol. I think it was like 6:30 in the morning before I finally got his ass

Honestly, in order for this to be effective we should break the games down by generation.

I.e SNES/Genesis games grouped together. PS1, Dreamcast & N64 Grouped together etc.

Because games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter II aren't the best games....but they're iconic games of that generation of console gaming.

********

Another game that we forgot about....STAR FOX. I loved that game.

Surprised no one mentioned Starcraft. I wasted so much time playing that game. Was in the top 100 of the Ladder for a couple of seasons.

My list would be -

Mass Effect 2
Starcraft (with Brood War)
Baldur's Gate 2
Witcher 3
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

I beat you to it already, Starcraft is an awesome game. I put countless hours into the first one and I still play the 2nd one every now and then. Best RTS game out there imo. Although Age of Empires is a close 2nd for me
