Yeah exactly they had to go on the road to do it and 49ers blew it having home field advantage. Oh Chiefs had home field advantage this year as well but again Alex Smith couldn't muster 20 points to win it.

The sack he took late in the 4th Q was inexcusable. After the Falcons had the ball at the Pats 22.

Other than that he was mostly ok. But not spectacular.

But Atlanta really didn't run that many plays compared to the Pats.

Brady threw the ball over 60 times. Ryan only 23

Ryan was the prototypical game manager for a dominant defense and running game for that same 3/4.

In the 4th, Brady did capitalize, but it was spurred by major brain farts by the game manager Ryan and major turnaround plays by the Pats D. He also benefitted from an amazing catch of a tipped poor throw by Edelmann.

Heck, the Pats even had 2, TWO!! Reid-esque 'down multiple scores, so run 6 minutes off the clock' drives, that should have killed them.

It was an amazing exciting game, but it was amazing and exciting because nearly every member of each squad had drama and a story arc.

I'm sorry, but no QB the Chiefs have ever employed would have come back from that deficit, ESPECIALLY Alex Smith.

the falcons lost that game. ryan just had to score some points when he was up 28-3 and that would of iced it or the defense just needed to stop tb12 once and that would of iced it. that was a collective team loss

it was holding. and even if we did convert the 2 point we would of given the ball back to big ben with like 2 minutes left and he would of drove the field like he did all night and they would of kicked a field goal to win
